Welcome to Brideweir, Cork’s Newest, Oldest Wedding Venue

He went down on bended knee. You said YES! And the best has yet to come…

Now that you’re engaged you’ll be looking forward to a truly memorable wedding day with your family and friends. And you know that means finding the perfect Irish wedding venue.

Welcome to Brideweir, a stunning country home in its own grounds where the fork in the road at Conna in County Cork waves goodbye to The Big Tree pub.

Cork’s best kept secret

As you come through the gates and up the sweeping driveway, the statuesque Brideweir House peeks through the trees.

Shssh! This nineteenth century former rectory is one of Cork’s best kept secrets.

Everything for the perfect wedding day

Because it is so secret Brideweir provides an idyllic setting for your marquee wedding. Set in three acres of formal gardens beside the River Bride which gives the house its name, the venue can accommodate marquee weddings from two to 220 guests.

The imposing house itself is available exclusively for the bride and groom, so you can relax before, during and after your celebration.

Where is Brideweir House, Co Cork?

It may be nestled in the countryside but Brideweir is just a 30 minute drive to Cork and is only two hours from Dublin. Cork Airport is a short 35 minutes away with daily flights to and from many European locations.

What do I do next?

Given the name of the house, it will come as no surprise that the bride is the most important person to the people at Brideweir House. Ronan has many years project management experience while Phil is a former tailor who has vast experience working with brides.

If you are interested in having your marquee wedding at Brideweir, contact Ronan or Phil on 025 36386 or email you marquee wedding enquiry to [email protected] for a tailor made quotation.
